About eSleuth, Inc.

Who We Are

eSleuth focuses on solving unsolved violent crimes. The founders leverage over 30 years of crime reduction experience and 40 years of data mining expertise within the law enforcement community. Our team brings 150 years of combined federal law enforcement experience and includes nationally recognized experts in violent crime reduction.

We are the builders of the largest law enforcement data information sharing platform — connecting 6,500 agencies and 1 billion records — and we exist for one reason: to solve violent crime by bridging the gap between resources and mission.

Why We Exist

In the USA, since 2013, there have been 350,000 unsolved homicides and 8 million unsolved violent crimes. Each year, 12,000 unsolved homicides and more than 1,000,000 violent crimes are added to this aggregate unsolved crime count. The problem is bad, if not worse, globally.

Law enforcement is faced with many challenges. Violent crime clearance rates have fallen dramatically in the last 10 years, with sexual assault clearance rates declining even lower — at 26% nationally.

Our Impact

“Unlike traditional intelligence-led policing platform, eSleuth, Inc. uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to automate police best practices and produce leads in seconds to investigators.”

Our platform is built for real-world investigations. Investigators use eSleuth throughout a case to evaluate all evidentiary items, identify suspects, and continuously update leads based on new information.

eSleuth PFM AI provides an automatically generated “to do” list for every case and creates real-time alerts as data evolves. It associates all open unsolved violent crimes and homicides to each other — enabling investigators to uncover connections others miss.

The eSleuth Solvability Matrix ranks unsolved cases by their likelihood of being solved using patterns learned from thousands of resolved cases. This empowers law enforcement to allocate limited time and resources toward the cases most likely to close.
