Gaylon is a former federal DEA agent with more than 24 years of senior leadership experience. Gaylon served in a variety of assignments as a field agent and supervisor. He served as Resident Agent in Charge of the Tacoma Resident Office and later under the Deputy Administrator at DEA Headquarters in the Executive Policy/Strategic Planning Unit. Gaylon’s last assignment was as Section Chief of the Tactical Operations Unit at the El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC). At EPIC he directed a group of agents and analysts representing a multitude of federal, state and local law enforcement and intelligence agencies in several classified DEA programs. This unit provided real-time tactical intelligence and counter-intelligence information to officers and agents working along both sides of the Southwest border.  Gaylon is qualified in federal and state court as an expert witness in the areas of drug trafficking, clandestine labs and criminal investigations.
